How to Request, Make or Change an Appointment
Refer yourself to a Pharmacy for minor illnesses
Patients are now able to refer themselves to a Pharmacy for minor illnesses, such as:
- Cold or Flu symptoms
- Sore throat
- Cough
- Diarrhoea
- Skin / Rash issues
- Hay Fever
Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals and can offer clinical advice and medicines for all sorts of minor ailments, with a same day consultation at a time that suits you.
Routine (1 - 4 weeks)
If you have a non-urgent problem and can wait 1 to 4 weeks for an appointment, please book a ROUTINE appointment.
We offer face-to-face, telephone, online and video consultations.
Telephone, online and video appointments are not suitable for everyone. If you need a physical examination or test, we will ask you to come in.
Our reception team will ask you for some information about your problem. They will help you book you the best appointment.
Please remember there is only be time to deal with 1 or 2 problems in each appointment.

Urgent (same day)
If you have an URGENT medical problem, we can offer same-day appointments.
Our reception team will ask you about your problem to book the best appointment. If you need a same-day appointment, we will give you an appointment time. Medical emergencies can be unpredictable, so you may need to wait.
Emergency appointments are shorter than routine appointments. The doctor will only be able to deal with your 1 emergency issue in this appointment. If there are any other problems we can book you a routine appointment for another day.

Appointment SMS Reminders
We will send you an automated text message 24 hours in advance of your appointment to remind you. If you no longer wish to attend the appointment, please follow the instructions to CANCEL. This will remove the booked appointment and allow another patient to use it.
Interpreting Services
If you need an interpreter for your consultations, the reception staff will be able to arrange this for most languages, providing you inform reception at the time of booking your appointment. Information in various languages is available at reception and in the waiting area.
