Blood Tests
Due to a recent cyber-attack on Synnovis, all routine blood tests are cancelled.
Ransomware Cyber Attack
On 3 June a pathology laboratory which processes blood tests on behalf of the NHS in South East London, was the victim of a cyber attack.
We have been instructed to cancel all routine blood tests. We are only able to offer blood tests for the most critical and urgent tests.
We do not know when we can start routine blood testing again. Disruption may last for months. We are keeping a record of patients who need a blood test. We will contact you when testing starts again.
Services at Guy’s and St Thomas’, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts and GPs across South East London are affected.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience this is causing to our patients and their families. This has been very disruptive and is not within our control, so please be patient with our staff, who will do their best to assist you.
